Creating a Domain

Domain are created to define the technical characteristic of a field.

Perform following steps to create Domain.
  • Execute the transaction SE11 .
  • Select the Domain  radio button .
  • Enter the Domain name Eg.ZDOMAIN. and click Create Button 
           
  • The Maintained the Short Description of the domain . 
  • The assign Data type of Domain eg .CHAR and No of Characters - 20 as follow 

  • Routine field is not Mandatory but you can create your own routine through SE37 .
  • Value range is not mandatory
  • Click on save button  then assign Package and then press enter to create Domain .
